Vivo X300 and X300 Pro launched: India prices, top specs, key features and everything else to know

Vivo has launched its next generation of flagships, the X300 and X300 Pro, in China. Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and feature 1.5K OLED LTPO displays. The X300 gets a 200-megapixel Samsung primary sensor, while the X300 Pro packs a 50-megapixel Sony main sensor.

Vivo has revealed its next generation of flagship phones, the X300 and X300 Pro. The two devices were launched in China on Monday, with a global release just around the corner. All specifications of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are out, and the two devices are an upgrade on the X200 series. The X300 series comes with Zeiss branded cameras, making them an ideal phone for anyone who has photography as their priority.

Vivo X300 and X300 Pro expected price in India

The Vivo X300 starts at 4,399 Yuan (roughly Rs. 54,700) in China for the base 12GB+256GB variant. The top-of-the-line 16GB + 1TB version is priced at 5,799 Yuan (roughly Rs. 72,900). The X300 is available in Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and Lucky Colour shades.



The Vivo X300 Pro is priced at 5,299 Yuan (roughly Rs. 65,900) for the base 12GB + 256GB. The top-of-the-line 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition is listed at 8,299 Yuan (roughly Rs. 1,03,200). The X300 Pro is sold in Wilderness Brown, Simple White, Free Blue and Pure Black shades.

Vivo has not revealed India prices for the X300 and X300 Pro. The X200 was launched at Rs 65,999, and the X300 may come with a similar price tag. The X300 Pro may have a similar starting price to the X200 Pro which was launched at Rs 94,999 in India.

Display: The Vivo X300 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The X300 has a 6.31-inch 1.5K flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.


Weight: The Vivo X300 Pro weighs 226 grams, while the base X300 weighs 190 grams.


Slimness: The X300 Pro has a thickness of 7.99mm. The X300 is marginally thinner at 7.95mm.


Chipset: Both the Vivo X300 Pro and X300 are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500.


RAM: The X300 and X300 Pro support LPDDR5x RAM and come in two variants, 12GB and 16GB.


Storage: The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro support UFS 4.1 storage, and can be purchased in 256GB, 512GB or 1TB variants.


Software: Both devices run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.


Front camera: The Vivo X300 Pro and X300 come with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 selfie camera.


Rear cameras: The X300 Pro packs a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The ultrawide lens is a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1, and it also has a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto with OIS.


The X300 has a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB primary sensor with OIS, and the same ultrawide as the Pro. Though it has a 50-megapixel LYT-602 periscope telephoto.

The X300 Pro has the Zeiss V3+ and Vs1 imaging chips, while the X300 has the V3+ chip only. The V3+ chip is for post-processing while the Vs1 is for pre-processing.


Battery: The X300 Pro packs a 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support. The X300 on the other hand has a smaller 6,040mAh battery with the same charging support.

The Vivo X-series is known to be one of the best Android devices when it comes to cameras, with the Zeiss partnership. The X300 and X300 Pro carry forward this legacy with both devices getting good camera setups. The phones also come with Zeiss’ imaging chips, further enhancing the results.


The rest of the specs are top-of-the-line as well. The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 is the flagship chipset from MediaTek, going up against the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Though, we will have to wait for real-life usage to find out which SoC is better.


Additionally, the X300 and X300 Pro come with 1.5K LTPO OLED displays for vibrant visuals while also saving battery.


The X300 series will also be the first Vivo devices to come with OriginOS outside of China, including India.
